WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO RENEW WITH CHIRLA

Government Issued Identification

- Work Authorization Card
- Driver's License
- Passport

Previous DACA Application

If you have not renewed your DACA with CHIRLA in the past you will need to bring a copy of your previous DACA application.

3.
Two Passport Photos

FREE passport photos are available for CHIRLA members.

4.
$495 CHECK For USCIS Fee

If your situation requires you to renew immediately you should bring a $495 check to cover the USCIS fee.

During the COVID-19 health emergency, CHIRLA’s offices are closed to the public in accordance with county health directives. However, our legal staff remains on the job. We provide limited legal services for DACA renewals via a consultation request link posted on our Instagram story and Facebook pages on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. The link remains open until slots for appointments are filled. The slots fill up fast, so if you cannot access the link, watch for the next posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please check back for updates as the recovery moves forward.

DAY OF DACA DECISION

CALL TO ACTION

On the day that the Supreme Court puts out the decision regarding DACA, we will have activities to follow it.
We will have a press conference and rally at the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building aka “Molecule Man”, a march down Temple Street, and end with a program at Pershing Square.
We hope that whatever the decision is you can join us at one of the events going on that day.
