Media Matters for America, a non-profit, Web-based progressive research and information center “dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media” is taking issue with recent comments from the likes of Neal Boortz, Lawrence Kudlow and Lou Dobbs on renaming swine flu.

Here are the remarks of Kudlow that Media Matters has pointed out on its website.

and here to see Dobbs.

On its website, Media Matters also offers this: The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) said “these so-called commentators shame themselves turning public health concerns into an immigrant bashing fest.” The National Council of LaRaza (NCLR), the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights group called the attacks “not surprising” and “standard fare on the hate group circuit.”
